In reading, the WJ-IV test results demonstrates a relative strength in sentence writing fluency (explain in detail). Anita has average interpretive reading skills, understands facts and concepts, and is able to apply what she reads at grade level standards. Anita is currently receiving an average grade in the course. Anita also expressed her love for reading (explain how this improves reading skills). There are no needs found in reading at this time.
In writing, the WJ-IV test results highlight a relative strength in spelling, (please explain what this indicates). Teacher reports state Anita is able to structure a paragraph, writes legibly, follows writing prompts, and provides great evidence.
Needs: Anita has shown a slight struggle in her abilities. Dependent upon the topic, she has some trouble making connections between evidence and analysis (explain in detail and why this hinders writing).
In math, Anita relative strength is in applied problems, which demonstrate an average ability to analyze and solve a selection of word problems. Teacher reports state her ability to solve equations (linear/quadratic) as well as radical equations independently. Overall, she is able to grasp new math concepts, and demonstrate problem solving ability.
Math needs: Anita has below grade level basic math skills and has low retention when applying previously learned math concepts. Most often she relies on a calculator to solve basic problems. Anita struggles with understanding Algebra 2 math (please list concepts found in algebra 2).
